Hello! I’m trying to use the Discord Pidgin plugin, but when I put the .so into ~/.purple/plugins, then check Tools > Plugins, it does not show up at all. I don’t believe this is an issue with this specific plugin.
Do I need to get Pidgin/libpurple to re-scan plugins or something?
Protocol plugins won’t show in the plugin list in the current stable release. They will in the upcoming version 2.15. Until then you’ll see if a protocol plugin was loaded if you see it in the protocol drop down menu when creating a new account.
