We’ve removed/need to remove a bunch of stuff from our tree. This post is meant to keep track of when stuff was removed to make it easier to find it if necessary.

Is jabber the same thing as xmpp?

Jabber is a brand name, XMPP is the protocol name.

To clear things up, we started a brand new XMPP protocol, this removal was for the old and severely out of date one.
