I just went through and closed all public XMPP Multi User Chats on conference.pidgin.im. I don’t have the desire nor the time they require specifically whatever people were trying to do in general@conference.pidgin.im.
devel@conference.pidgin.im is still open and will remain open for the foreseeable future.
