[@packagers](https://discourse.imfreedom.org/groups/packagers) We’ve been getting reports of crashes in the media API in a `gst_is_device` check. We believe we have a fix for this, but wanted to reach out to you all as it’s going to be a little bit before we’re able to release 2.15.0 and figured you might want to include it downstream in the mean time.

The patch can be found attached to [/r/4404](https://reviews.imfreedom.org/r/4404/).
